I went to the most gorgeous wedding at the weekend. It was the perfect day for it — cold but bright sunshine, not a cloud in the sky… a crisp winter’s day. I think winter can be such a nice time of year to get married. The colours around at this time of year are great — those rich jewel tones — and it seems like a perfect time to introduce a touch of sparkle as well (the wedding I went to had gold sequin bridesmaids dresses and beautiful purpley red flowers).
I’m slightly going off on a tangent here, but anyway, let’s get to the point. I came across the Winter Blossom & Berries wedding invitations by Norma & Dorothy, and it’s the perfect thing for that sort of wedding.
What a gorgeous looking bundle. Let’s see that all unwrapped shall we?
I love the simplicity of the kraft paper and white calligraphy, accented with those winter berries in the colours I was raving about at the top of the post. So pretty.
I love that mint green colour too (in fact the bridesmaids at my own wedding were wearing that colour!)
And the touch of glitter just makes it pop 🙂
If you want to bundle it up all nicely as well (and why wouldn’t you), you can also get envelopes printed.
Christmas is a popular time for proposals, so if you’re reading this as a newly engaged bride-to-be, firstly, congratulations! Secondly, if a Christmas proposal has got you thinking about a winter wedding, perhaps these could be the invitations for you.
