So I started drafting this post last week when the weather was lovely, and I was talking all excitedly about how spring had sprung. Typically, now I’ve come back to it, the weather is awful again. But anyway, let’s hope it’s just a minor blip and warmer weather is on its way soon. Of course with spring and summer, wedding season ramps up as well — I’ve got two to go to this spring. With all those weddings, you’ll be needing some wedding invitations, so I’m introducing you to lovely designer Polka Dot Paper today.
I thought I’d just do a quick whistle stop tour of some of their designs to give a taster, so let’s go shall we?
I love the soft blush pink/coral colour of this invitation suite. It would be perfect for a spring wedding. I love that it keeps things nice and simple. The typography is clean, not too fussy, and the colours go well with a kraft paper envelope.
This one on the other hand has a touch of glam. It would be great for a glitzy winter wedding, or a black tie do? Either way, it’s very elegant and I love the metallic polka dot envelope liner.
Back to sunnier weather, and we’ve got this lovely floral set. I love the impact that the border has — it’s vibrant without being overwhelming.
And finally, you can’t beat a bit of monochrome. It’s always classy. Of course, if you want everything to be matching, you can also get menus and on-the-day bits and bobs
Just a quick selection there, but all really lovely stuff. You can customise any of these sets, or even get a bespoke set if you have something specific in mind. To find out more, head over to Polka Dot Paper.
